To send a payment link to your society or mandal members, open the festival drive in Om Kosh, filter to the members who haven’t paid, and email them a secure contribution link in one action. Each link is personal and one-time-use: the member sees their own name, flat and amount, scans a UPI QR to pay your society directly, and records the transaction reference. Links expire after 7 days, and you verify the payments against your bank before any receipt is issued.
Who should get a link
The point of a link is the members a volunteer can’t easily reach in person. Send links to the flats still marked unpaid, travellers, tenants, owners in other cities, and anyone who keeps saying “I’ll pay later”. Members who’ve already paid at the mandap don’t need one.
What makes the link safe
A payment link carries a member’s name and amount, so it’s built to be safe to email.

After you send

Do members need to install an app or create an account?
No. The link opens in any browser, they see their amount, scan the UPI QR to pay, and enter the reference. There’s no login and nothing to install.
Can I re-send a link if it expires?
Yes. If the 7-day window passes or the member loses the email, you can send a fresh one-time link straightaway.
Does sending a link mark the member as paid?
No. The member stays a defaulter until they actually pay and you verify it against the bank statement. Sending a link only invites payment.
