About us

Bringing transparency to every festival in India.

Omkosh started with a treasurer, a diary full of contributions, and one too many “where did the money go?” questions at the AGM.

Across India, housing societies and mandals raise crores every festival season — for Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Diwali and dozens of local celebrations. Almost all of it is tracked in diaries, WhatsApp forwards and a spreadsheet that only the treasurer understands.

We think the people contributing their hard-earned money deserve better than a shrug at the AGM. So we built Omkosh: a single, transparent home for the festival money, where a volunteer can collect at the mandap in fifteen seconds, a resident gets an instant receipt, and the whole society sees exactly where every rupee went.

Today Omkosh is trusted by committees across six cities. We’re a small team based in Pune, obsessed with making festival finance so simple and so transparent that the arguments simply stop.

What we believe

Three things we never compromise on.

Transparency first
Every rupee should be visible to the people it belongs to. That belief shapes every screen we build.
Built for volunteers
The people running festivals aren’t accountants. Our job is to make the software disappear into the celebration.
Trust is the product
Committees hand us real money and real reputations. We treat both with the seriousness they deserve.

Run your next festival with a ledger everyone trusts.

Tell us about your society and we’ll set you up to run your next celebration with your whole committee — free for societies up to 50 members.
